Baking Classes Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the procedures for canceling or rescheduling your enrollment in our baking classes.

1. Student Cancellations/Rescheduling

We understand that conflicts can arise. To ensure our classes run smoothly and to fill the spots of those who cancel, we adhere to the following timeline:

  • 14 days or more before the class date: You are eligible for a full refund minus non-refundable third-party processing fees or a full credit for a future class.

  • 7 days before the class date: You are eligible for a credit for a future class only (no cash or credit card refunds).

  • 3 or less before the class date: No refund or credit will be issued. Enrollment is forfeited.

Detail on Fees: When a refund is processed for cancellations made 14 or more days out, the amount returned to the student will be the purchase price less any non-recoverable third-party payment processing fees (typically between 2-5% of the transaction total) incurred during the initial payment.

Credit Validity: Any class credit issued is valid for 3 months (90 days) from the original canceled class date. Credits must be used to book a new class scheduled to take place within this 3-month period. Class credits are non-transferable and can only be used by the original registered student. Expired credits will be forfeited.

How to Cancel: All cancellations and requests to reschedule must be made by emailing info@latelierphilly.com.

Transferring Your Spot: If you cannot attend, you are welcome to send a friend or family member in your place for the current, specific class only. Please notify us of the change via email at least 24 hours before the class begins.

2. No-Shows

If a student does not attend a class for which they are registered (a "no-show") and has not communicated with us prior to the class start time, no refund, credit, or rescheduling will be permitted.

3. Minimum Enrollment/Class Cancellation by Us

Our classes require a minimum number of students to proceed.

  • If we cancel: In the rare event that we must cancel a class due to low enrollment, instructor emergency, or unforeseen circumstances (like severe weather), you will be notified at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. You will be offered a full refund or a full credit to be used toward any future class.

  • Weather Closures: If a class is canceled due to severe weather, the same full refund/credit options apply. We will use the main contact method provided during registration to inform you of the cancellation.

4. Private Classes/Group Bookings

For private baking classes or large group bookings, a separate cancellation policy will be outlined in your individual booking agreement. A non-refundable deposit is required, and the final payment becomes non-refundable 14 days before the event date.
